Life has been life-ing, which led me to take a pause from just about everything so I could clear my head and refocus.
If you’ve followed along, you know about the Forgiveness Study and how it first began. From the second our study started, I felt like we were under attack. I was hit repeatedly by challenges and setbacks, and I knew the enemy was trying to stop me. Even in the middle of the study, we experienced thousands of dollars in water damage to our home, much of which was uninsured. Then I found out I would need major surgery, and quickly. It all happened during the study, and while I finished it, the process took a lot out of me.
Then came 2026 and the Forgiveness Study 2.0, and in many ways, it happened again.
Just in a different form.
It felt like every good and positive thing I was writing about and sharing with others took a hit. Information that really did not need to be shared became shared. Other issues created friction in a co-parenting relationship that I value deeply. Stress piled on top of stress. By the end of this study, it took everything I had to finish.
And while I did, it took a lot out of me.
Clearly, the enemy does not like the idea of forgiveness. He wants us to hold on to bitterness and anger. He wants division. The lengths he will go to in order to create it are astonishing.
So here I am on the other side of the Forgiveness Study, finding myself ready for a shift.
I do not take back anything I have previously written. Those words were sincere, and they mattered. But perhaps it is time for this space to become more than a study. Perhaps it is time for it to become a place for self-reflection, healing, growth, and becoming the best version of ourselves.
Because no matter who you are, you are not immune to life shifting and things changing.
Thank you for hanging with me and tagging along on this journey.
All the best, friends,
~ Stace
